Whether you are looking to build confidence, expand your network or gain a fresh perspective on your career, the event is designed to leave you with valuable takeaways and a stronger sense of direction.
NEW Keynote Speaker
Looking Around, Looking Forward, Looking Up
We are delighted to welcome Catherine Spencer as keynote speaker at the Women in Fenestration Network Professional Development Day.
A former England Rugby Captain, founder of Inspiring Women and author of Mud, Maul, Mascara, Catherine has built a career around leadership, confidence and helping others realise their potential.
Having represented England 63 times and captained her country on the international stage, Catherine understands what it means to perform under pressure, lead through challenge and continually push beyond perceived limits. Yet her story extends far beyond rugby.
Following retirement from elite sport, Catherine successfully navigated career transitions into education, business and leadership development, experiences that have shaped her powerful and relatable message around reinvention, resilience and personal growth.
Her keynote will explore:
- Building confidence and self-belief
- Leading through challenge and uncertainty
- Managing change and career transitions
- Learning from setbacks and perceived failures
- Unlocking potential in yourself and others
- Taking the next step, even when the destination isn't clear
This promises to be an inspiring and thought-provoking
session packed with practical insight, honest reflection and lessons that can be applied both professionally and personally.

Mentoring Programme Launch
A key moment within the day will be the launch of the Women in Fenestration mentoring programme.
Led by Clare Bailey, an experienced commercial leader with over 25 years in senior roles across manufacturing and construction. The programme has been designed to create meaningful, structured support for women across the industry.
Clare’s career spans leadership roles including Group Commercial Projects Director at Epwin Group Plc and Managing Director of Epwin Window Systems, bringing a wealth of real-world experience and insight.
The session will introduce how the programme will work, who it is for and how to get involved as either a mentor or mentee. Offering a valuable opportunity to be part of the programme from the very beginning.
Led by Sioned Yates, owner of Access Marketing, this panel brings together respected voices from across the industry for an open and honest conversation about their experiences.
This session will explore the realities of building a career in fenestration. How each panellist entered the industry, the barriers they have faced and the moments that shaped their progression.
The discussion will go beyond surface-level insight, offering practical advice, shared experiences and reflections on what needs to change to better support and retain women within the sector.
