About our

Mentoring Programme

The Women in Fenestration mentoring programme has been created to support women at all stages of their careers through meaningful, structured connections. Designed as a core part of the network, the programme will bring together experienced professionals and those looking to grow—creating space for guidance, shared experience and long-term development.

Why Mentoring Matters

Having access to the right support at the right time can make a significant difference to confidence, progression and opportunity.

The mentoring programme aims to:

  • Support career development and progression
  • Build confidence and self-belief
  • Provide guidance and perspective
  • Create stronger connections across the industry
  • By connecting individuals across different roles, experiences and career stages, the programme will help foster a more supportive and collaborative environment within fenestration.

How the Programme Works

  1. The programme will be designed to create meaningful and valuable mentoring relationships, with a structured but flexible approach.
  2. Participants will be matched based on experience, goals and areas of interest, with guidance provided to support productive and impactful conversations.
  3. The aim is to create a supportive environment where both mentors and mentees benefit from the experience.

For Mentors

Becoming a mentor is an opportunity to share your experience, support others and contribute to the development of women across the industry.

Mentors will:

  • Provide guidance and support based on their own experience
  • Help build confidence and offer perspective
  • Play an active role in shaping the next generation within the sector

For Mentees

The programme is open to women at all stages of their career who are looking to develop, grow and gain support.

Mentees will:

  • Gain insight from experienced professionals
  • Build confidence and clarity
