Lunch & Learn Networking Event

Our first WFN Lunch & Learn, hosted at the GGF in London, brought women from across the industry together for an interactive workshop on Confidence & Imposter Syndrome with Charlotte Haslam of Charlotte Haslam Coaching.

The session explored why imposter syndrome happens, how it can affect confidence and decision-making and practical ways to manage it. Alongside the workshop, there was plenty of time for networking, sharing experiences and making new connections.

The first in our new Lunch & Learn series, the event combined practical professional development with the opportunity to connect and learn from one another.

WFN Training Day

Our WFN Training Day with Building Our Skills gave women from across the fenestration industry the opportunity to get hands-on and experience the window installation process for themselves.

Led by Mark Handley, the practical session took attendees through removing and replacing a window, from de-glazing and removing the existing frame to measuring, preparing and refitting.

More than just technical training, the day was about building confidence, broadening industry knowledge and creating connections, all within a supportive environment where everyone could get involved, ask questions and learn together.

Professional Development Day

The inaugural Women in Fenestration Professional Development Day marked the official launch of WFN, bringing women from across the fenestration industry together for a day of learning, connection and honest conversation.

The event introduced the WFN network, membership and mentoring programme, alongside a programme of speakers and discussions designed to build confidence, encourage professional development and create new connections across the industry.



It was the starting point for WFN and our mission to connect, develop and inspire women across fenestration.
